Active Youth is a young people organisation established in 2007 to promote community cohesion, reducing barriers and providing opportunities for themselves and the community. The management committee are all young people who have a close working relationship with professionals who provide them with advice, support and guidance. Many young people have now moved on and there are opportunities for 13 to 19 year olds to join and gain knowledge, skills and experiences to run their own organisation. Please note that Every Child Matters is important for maintaining quality and keeping to nationally agreed standards in relation to young people and how they grow and develop.
