Arts
Hello. My name is Ferdous and I’m the Arts Development Worker. I have a background in teaching and specialised in Early Years. I love creative activities and as a kinaesthetic learner, activities are usually hands-on and sometimes messy!
I’ve delved into many different arts, learned new techniques whilst improving my own skills. I enjoy Geometric art, floral patterns, jewellery making, quilting, sewing to name a few. When I became a mum, I also created my own templates and sewed my own baby toys, blankets, quilts and nappy mats!
I love creating new opportunities for young people to explore their own creativity and most recently, became an Arts Award Advisor. This means young people can get creative with an art topic of their choice, build a portfolio and earn a recognised arts qualification. AMAZING!
